From our workshop in Devon, we are here to help you with any aspect of boating. We are also now building the exciting new range of Storm boats.
David Foa
David started Sailing Dinghy’s on Datchet Reservoir, he then moved onto sailing cruisers on the south coast and across the Atlantic. He got the kitesurfing bug in 2003 and started teaching it for a spell in Exmouth. Dave lately got into powerboat racing, taking part in a few OCRDA races (Circuit Racing) then moving to UKOPRA Offshore Marathon and becoming Class 2 World Champion in 2018 & 2019. He’s looking forward to getting back out there. David is one of the owners of the River Exe Cafe a floating Restaurant on the River Exe, he also has a background in property and will be using his skills to guide Nautexe onto great things.
Louise Foa
Lou is our creative eye! She has a BA Hons in 3D design and a background career in London visual merchandising and image consultancy. Moving to Devon has fuelled her adventurous spirit and she has taken to T80 single seater racing as well as a love of kitesurfing, sailing and SUPing which Exmouth has in abundance.
Charlie Williams-Hawkes
A trained boat builder and marine electrician, Charlie has been a successful powerboat racer. After dominating the RIB national championships and winning the RIB world cup 2 years in a row he moved to race in the world championship and the around Britain race with great success. Having always loved the engineering side, Charlie then moved to working on the boats and using race knowledge to prepare boats to race-winning standards. 2018 and 2019 boats prepared by Nautexe won both Offshore 1 and Offshore 2 championships in the UKOPRA National series.
Now those skills are being used to produce efficient and reliable pleasure boats with
Storm Boats.
Guy ReVill
Guy has been involved in boats all his life. In 2008 he graduated from Southampton Solent University with a degree in ‘yacht manufacturing and surveying’ BEng (Hons). Since then he has worked at some of the best composite boat building companies in the world including; Cookson boats NZ, Green Marine, and Compass Tenders. Guy is a hands on guru when it comes to composites.
